When are the Hymotion™ L5 Plug-in Conversion Modules (L5 PCMs) going to be available?

How much does a Hymotion L5 PCM cost, including installation?

Our MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) for the L5 PCM is $10,395 which includes installation at one of our Green CHIP (Certified Hymotion Installer Partner) locations.. All applicable taxes will also be added upon installation.

Can I put the L5 PCM in a vehicle other than the Prius? Are PCM's available for other vehicles?

Our first commercially released product, the L5 PCM, is only approved for use with the Toyota Prius model years 2004 – 2009. We have also developed prototype PCMs for other vehicles. These additional PCMs are not commercially available at this time, but may be released for sale in the future.

Can I purchase an L5 PCM conversion outside of the United States and Canada?

No. The L5 PCM is only available for purchase by customers in the U.S. and Canada with installation of the L5 PCM conducted by our Green CHIP dealers in the United States. Canadian customers may bring their cars to U.S. Green CHIP dealers for installation of the L5 PCM.

Can I get a refund on my deposit?

Deposits are refundable for a $75 processing fee up until a month prior to your scheduled installation date.
