Livonia Prismatic Cell Field Campaign

A123 has recently discovered that some battery modules and packs produced with prismatic cells made in our Livonia, Mich. manufacturing facility may contain a defect which can result in premature failure of the battery module or pack, including a decrease in performance and reduced battery life. We will be as transparent as possible in our communications throughout this process and plan to provide updates on this Web site as we progress through this field campaign.
